Peter D. Weill

Senior Research Scientist and Chairman Emeritus, MIT CISR

Peter D. Weill is Senior Research Scientist at the MIT Sloan School of Management and Chairman Emeritus at MIT CISR. Peter’s work centers on the role, value and governance of digitization in enterprises and their ecosystems.

In 2008, Ziff Davis recognized Peter as No. 24 of The Top 100 Most Influential People in IT and the highest-ranked academic.

Peter is a passionate researcher and an engaging speaker and has worked on digitization issues with executive committees and boards of more than 50 companies globally. He has coauthored books including Future Ready: The Four Pathways to Capturing Digital Value, What’s Your Digital Business Model? Six Questions to Help You Build the Next-Generation Enterprise and IT Savvy: What Top Executives Must Know to Go from Pain to Gain.
