The research provides visibility into public and private companies, examining multiple dimensions of diversity and inclusion across the Americas, Europe and the UK, Africa, the Middle East, and the Asia-Pacific region.

Boardroom diversity in Europe 

About 29% of board seats in the UK and continental Europe are held by female directors. About 86% of board seats are held by local directors.

Boardroom diversity in the Middle East and Africa

Women hold about 16% of board seats in the Middle East and Africa. Other elements of diversity, such as race and LGBTQ+ status, are not publicly disclosed. 

Boardroom diversity in Australia and Asia

Female directors hold about 30% of board seats in Australia. In Asia, this number is 14%.
